These few days have been chaotic for me. I'm in charge of the lucky draw for this particular event where the prize is a Nissan March. I have issue lucky draw slips for those who spend $500 using their Visa Card. The organizers told us to stop issuing the slips at 8.15pm cos' the draw is at 8.30pm. After they collected the lucky draw box, a group of customers came and DEMANDED for us to give them lucky draw slips for them to fill. They keep screaming and shouting, that we are deprieving them of a chance to win the car. Mind you! It's a CHANCE!!! Not a confirm thing. And there's only one car lor.. ONE!! They start threatening to complain and that they want to stop the draw cos' it's unfair, etc. Singaporeans never fail to 'impress' me with their kiasu-ness. I really don't understand the rationale behind their action. I don't understand why!!!
