Have you ever wonder whether our human brains have a maximum capacity for memory space? And if there is, how much memory do we have?

I used to be able to remember the smallest things; like the clothes my friends wore when we were out for an outing like 10 years back, or what the person ate 5 years ago. But nowadays, I find myself forgetting things.. important things. I forgot the name of the person sitting next to me during band practice, I forgot my form teacher's name in JC, I can't even remember what's the surname of one of my best friends in band! I used to be able to remember 80% of the people in my level during Secondary School. I could even remember 20% of those not in my level. Now, I couldn't even match a face to a name that seems so familiar.

And to think that memory is the best thing that one could ever have. And now, I'm losing even that.. sad isn't it.

I enjoyed my Secondary School life most. Those were the happy days (minus the test and exams). I hung out a lot with my 'band gang' ... waking up early on Saturday for band practise doesn't seem to be a chore then. Contrary to the beliefs that band members are usually geeks, we are a surprisingly happening bunch, who are forever hanging around Clementi Mac Donald's. Ordering the usual cup of sundae, just wasting our Saturday afternoon, day dreaming. Sadly, as we grow older, different priorities kicked in - Studies, relationships, careers. We don't meet up that often anymore. Unfortunately there wasn't such thing as handphone, msn and email then. We kinda lost touch with some of the friends in the group. I just wish that one day when I'm walking along the street, I'll bum into some of them. I wish.
